Flight Calculator is a calculator which will enable you to do complex calculations with one click! You can download data from Microsoft FlightSimulator 2004 and use the calculated results directly in FlightSimulator.

NOTE: Flight Calculator has been created in cooperation with Aerosoft which handles the Support and Registration process and Koen Lamoen. Please refer to Aerosoft's site for more information.

So, there you are, cruising with 145 knots at 5000 feet in your shiny new Cessna. Your next waypoint is at a course of 025° 50 miles away, the wind up here is 240/30. What's the heading you should fly to get to your destination? Of course with wind from the left we should aim left of the course, but how much? And while we are at it, what will be our speed over the ground so we can tell ATC when we will get there? How much fuel will we use? And what's that in liters? Would it be better to climb to 7000 feet where the wind 210/50, a lot stronger but more on our tail?

Can you do all these calculations in your head? If so you are a LOT better then we are and a lot better then most real pilots. We use a Flight Calculator and so should you! It will make your flights far more interesting and you will feel like a real pilot. Aerosoft Flight Calculator will do all the calculations to solve the questions posted above in a few seconds.

Don't think only bushpilots use Flight Calculators. Your great (but complex) GPS navigation system can tell you where you are and where to go, and your Flight Management System works perfect, but just try to find out what your fuel burn would be if you change your altitude or if you change your routing to find colder air. It probably can do it but every airline pilot worth his pay will prefer to do those calculations on a simple small £99 Flight Calculator.

Oh, the answers? We'll have to fly heading 18° and will get about 169 knots ground speed. As we will need 17 minutes and 45 seconds and burn 13.1 gallon per hour we'll use 3.88 gallons (or 14.69 liters). And yes, climbing to 7000' feet would help as our ground speed would increase to 195 knots!

For a mere €15 (about $18.5), all the following will be yours!
